Frontal Plane Short-Arm Invert

Here's the frontal plane "cartwheel" inversion from a short-arm position.

In this inversion, you're dropping your torso down by straightening the elbow of the lower hand and using your obliques to lift the hips. You're using physics in your favor by basically dropping down into most of the invert instead of lifting up into it.

This is my preferred invert because it is so darned efficient!

Prerequisite:

  • a two-armed meathook with hips lifted and spine neutral
